Set within a listed building overlooking a private gated garden in South Kensington, this apartment was comprehensively refurbished while retaining its established arrangement and the character of its original architectural features.

Huntsmore developed the interior scheme and coordinated the renovation, including a new DeVol Shaker kitchen, three bathrooms and individually designed joinery. The design brings together traditional detailing and carefully selected contemporary fittings, finishes and colours.

The principal living spaces and bedrooms enjoy views towards the garden square, giving the apartment a strong sense of place. The interior interventions were developed with the existing architecture in mind, with attention to proportions, material relationships and the transition between rooms.
