Huntsmore completed the full refurbishment of a spacious, light-filled apartment within a handsome late-Victorian building, on a wide, tree-lined street at the Notting Hill / Bayswater borders. Untouched for decades, the property was in a tired condition and required a complete transformation to suit modern living while celebrating its period character.
Acting as architect, project manager, and interior designer, we delivered a turnkey solution from concept through to completion. A new DeVol shaker kitchen was designed to take advantage of the large street-facing windows, creating a welcoming heart of the home filled with natural light.
Bespoke joinery was designed in-house and manufactured in our workshop, ensuring a tailored fit and exceptional finish throughout. To further enhance the interiors, we sourced all decorative light fittings and advised the client on furniture selections, bringing cohesion and elegance to the final scheme.
New double-glazed timber sash windows combined authentic detailing with improved energy efficiency, while a contemporary shower room and herringbone flooring throughout provided comfort, warmth, and continuity. The result is a refined home that combines timeless craftsmanship, carefully curated design, and everyday practicality within a characterful Victorian setting.
